Tipping Point Tuesday 4/5/2011
We all have those dingy sponges in our kitchen sink. Some of of us have the habit of throwing them away often even if they are still in usable conditions. One way to prolong the life of your sponge is to toss them in the dishwasher at night. They will get washed and sterilized if you use the hot water setting. Another way to sterilize your sponge is sticking it in the microwave for 30 seconds. If the sponge is wet leave it for a full minute on full power.

Great tips! I use a dish brush and I will throw into the dishwasher when it needs to be washed.
