First let me tell you assembly was EASY! Only two screws and everything else just snaps in to place. The cord OMG I love it! 30 ft! This for me means less moving the plug to a different outlet. I can vacuum the stairs and the hallway without having to stop and use a different outlet. Let's talk about filters. Completely washable! Plastic filters I can quickly dry and continue to use without having to wait for it to air dry. The suction is there all the time. Even with the collection cup full it continues picking up the dirt. The first time I used it I wondered how my dog was not bald! I told my husband I found another dog and showed him all the hair in the trash the vacuum picked up totally amazing.
Let's talk dirt. Have you ever wondered why after you vacuum and then start to clean the carpet the water always comes out nearly black? You then figure you just need to go over the area again and it still comes out black. If this is you consider getting a new vacuum if budget allows because yours sucks and not in a good way! The Bissell Lift-Off Multi Cyclonic Pet vacuum gets all that fine dirt out of your carpet. I literally had to pass the vacuum over the same area six or seven times before it stopped collecting dirt. The carpet was filthy! To prove how good this vacuum is take a look at this video. First I will use my old vacuum then I will go over the same area with the Bissell Lift-Off so you can see what others leave behind.
