I have been using The Flex Belt now for a week and while it is to soon to see results it is not to soon to feel them. First thing you need to know this is NOT a get skinny belt. It will not help you lose weight or shed inches off your waist. It will how ever help you tighten and tone your abdominal muscles. This is the first post of eight I am hoping to type up. At the end I will also upload before and after pictures. For now I will talk about the features, comfort
and all that good stuff. I will also give you my initial impression of the Flex Belt.
and all that good stuff. I will also give you my initial impression of the Flex Belt.
When you order your Flex Belt you will receive:
- The Flex Belt and Gel Pads
- The Rechargeable Power Supply Unit (usable with other Flex products)
- A belt extension for those with a waist
over 44 inches - An Instruction Manual.
- Cloth bag to hold it all
Who Should Use the Flex Belt?
- Casual Exercisers
- Fitness Enthusiasts already ingood shape
- Executives who don't have time to get to the gym
- New Mothers
- People with a Sore Back
- Anyone that wants more attractive abs, regardless of current fitness levels
How does it work?
- The unique construction of the Flex Belt features three pre-positioned, medical-grade Gel Pads, covering the central abdominals and external obliques.
- During your toning session, signals from the Flex Belt reach out to nerves where they are most concentrated.
- These nerves branch out to all of the stomach muscles causing them to contract and relax naturally, working all of the muscles at the same time, not just those directly under the gel pads.
So now that we have all the great info out of the way here is my personal initial opinion about The Flex Belt. Set up is a breeze and instructions are clear. You do have to put the battery to charge before you can use it but it does not take very long at all. I am very happy with it because the reality is that if it is not easy to use you wont use it.
At first I thought the belt would be uncomfortable, but it is not as bad as it sounds. To be honest I have been half tempted to turn it around and use it on my back too! As you increase you feel it more and more but it does not hurt at all. The only thing that I just can't wrap my head around is when I put it on the gel pads are COLD! I don't like cold. They do however stay in place and do not leave a sticky residue like I originally thought. They also retain their shape well considering that you have to pull them off.
The controller is very easy to attach and detach from both the belt and charger. All you need to remember is the printed side faces out. The Flex Belt if very light weight and I have used it while cooking, doing dishes and vacuuming. The only reason I remember having it on is because of the tingling. Once your program is done the controller will peep and that is it. The only thing left for you to do is shut off the controller and take off the belt.
So my overall first impression is a positive one. I like my Flex Belt and will continue to use it. See you next week for my next update!
